Sheet Set:
There is a wide variety of Sheet Sets and I believe it must be difficult even for you to choose.
From my experience as a mother and professional, there are 25 years, the my favorites are 100% Cotton:
Poplin
-
Sheet Cloth
-
Percale
-
Tencel
-
Muslin
-
Knit
However, many mothers say: but they are cold in winter.
Among the benefits for your baby using this compared to others I will mention below, are enormous!
There are several sheet options on the market that moms find warm, which can be harmful to your baby:
1 - Polar and Coraline Sheets
Usually these sheet sets are fluffy and pleasant to the touch, however polyester hinders breathing and sweating.
Also, it promotes the faster drying of the surface compared to fluids expelled during the night, such as saliva or sweat, for example.
2 - Flannel Sheets
Some mothers must be saying: -but these are Cotton.
YES, they are Cotton, but it has its disadvantages.
Flannel is made with the worst cotton. They are the leftover fibers, that is, the shortest ones. Have you noticed that flannel releases a lot of hair? This has to do with the fibers being short, releasing fibers of the threads. That’s why they tear more easily.
The problem for the baby is to breathe in constantly these fibers and can cause respiratory complications!
In conclusion, if you want the best for your baby - Use:
-
100% Cotton Sheets
They are breathable and soft on your baby's skin.

Pure cotton is hypoallergenic, ideal for skin prone to allergies or irritations!
Cotton is a natural fiber that offers breathability and ventilation to the sheet, as it is a permeable fabric, allowing air to penetrate and heat to dissipate.
For this reason, cotton tends to ensure a safer and more peaceful night's sleep for the baby, due to its thermoregulating properties.
-
Tencel Sheets
Tencel is a natural fabric made from wood or cellulose residues. It features softness and smoothness as its main characteristics, creating a comfortable sleep environment.
It also has a great absorption capacity, allowing your baby to sleep drier. However, also like cotton, tencel is a good option for the baby to sleep in a healthier environment.
