If your seat is already used, check if it has these two parts.

Often, they disappear. Having a seat is not enough; these two accessories are essential for your baby's safety. Make sure the seat has these accessories.

Important to know:

Please note:
Your baby's head must be properly positioned in the reducer and the straps well back, with the padded part under the shoulders, protecting the neck.
After tightening the belt, you should not be able to fit more than your hand under it. I see many parents leaving the belt loose, fearing they might tighten it too much on their babies.
