Keep in mind:
Your baby's head must be well positioned in the reducer and the straps pulled back, with the padded part under the shoulders, protecting the neck.
After tightening the belt, you should not be able to fit more than your hand. I often see parents leaving the belt loose out of fear of tightening it too much on the babies.
