Washing Baby Clothes:
Washing baby clothes requires special attention to ensure they are clean, safe, and comfortable for your child!
-
Use gentle detergent: Choose a mild, hypoallergenic liquid detergent or neutral soap and do not use fabric softeners;
-
Separate the clothes: Wash your baby’s clothes separately from the rest of the family’s laundry;
-
Choose a delicate cycle: Use the delicate or sensitive clothes setting on your washing machine. These cycles are gentler and reduce friction and excessive wear on the clothes.
-
Wash items separately: Items like bedding, cloth diapers, and towels should be washed separately to avoid cross-contamination.
-
Check washing instructions: Always check the washing instructions on the clothing labels to ensure you are following the correct guidelines.
Velvets and Cottons:
Washing cycle up to 40°
The ideal temperature for most baby clothes is around 30°C to 40°C, as warm water effectively removes dirt and stains without being too harsh on the clothes.
You can also choose to hand wash. Soak the clothes in a basin of warm water!
Do not use bleach
Do not use bleach or fabric softeners. These leave residues on the items that can cause skin allergies in your baby!
Do not use a tumble dryer
All padded items—duvets, mattress protectors, blankets, etc.—should not be put in the tumble dryer. However, for velvets, the pieces become fluffier if you lightly iron them when they are almost dry.
Maximum iron temperature 150°C
Cottons are resistant to heat. If the item has padding, do not press the iron down; just lightly pass over the fabric.

Important to know:
1. Head Reducer:
The head reducer is especially important for newborns, who do not yet have full control over their neck and head muscles. This accessory adapts the infant car seat to the baby's smaller size, creating a more comfortable and secure environment.
Key benefits of the head reducer:
Additional support: Ensures the baby's head remains in the correct position, preventing tilting or sudden movements during transport.
Impact protection: In situations of braking or collisions, it reduces the risk of excessive head movements, minimizing potential injuries to the neck or cervical spine.
Comfort: Provides a sense of coziness, essential for the baby's well-being, especially on longer journeys.
Adaptability: Some models are adjustable to the infant car seat, allowing use during the first few months, as the baby grows and develops more stability.
2. Seatbelt protector kit
Seatbelt protectors are another essential accessory, ensuring that the car seat's restraint system is comfortable for the baby. Seatbelts, no matter how safe they are, can cause discomfort or irritation if they come into direct contact with the baby's sensitive skin.
Advantages of seatbelt protectors:
Additional comfort: Prevents the belts from being too tight or causing friction on the baby's neck and shoulders.
Skin protection: Reduces the possibility of irritation or marks, common on long journeys.
Hygiene: Many protectors are removable and washable, making maintenance easier and ensuring a clean and healthy environment for the baby.
Safety: Keep the belts well-positioned, preventing them from slipping or twisting, which could compromise the restraint system.
