How to wash?
Washing Baby Clothes:
Washing baby clothes requires special attention to ensure they are clean, safe and comfortable for your child!
-
Use mild detergent: Choose a mild, hypoallergenic liquid detergent or mild soap and do not use fabric softeners;
-
Separate clothes: Wash your baby's clothes separately from the family's other clothes;
-
Choose a delicate cycle: Use the delicate or sensitive wash setting on your washing machine. These cycles are gentler and reduce friction and excessive wear on clothes.
-
Wash items separately: Items such as bedding, cloth diapers, and towels should be washed separately to avoid cross-contamination.
-
Check washing instructions: Always check the washing instructions on clothing labels to ensure you are following the correct guidelines.
Velvets and Cottons:
Wash cycle up to 40°
The ideal temperature for most baby clothes is around 30°C to 40°C, because warm water is effective at removing dirt and stains without being too harsh on the clothes.
You can also choose to wash by hand. Rinse the clothes in a basin with warm water!
Do not use bleach
Do not use bleach or fabric softeners. These leave residues on the garments that can cause allergies on your baby's skin!
Do not use a tumble dryer
All items with filling, such as duvets, comforters, blankets, etc., should not be put in the dryer. However, velvet items will be fluffier if you give them a quick tumble when they are almost dry.
Maximum iron temperature 150°C
Cottons are temperature resistant. If there is stuffing, do not put the iron down, just iron lightly.
